Trans-Pennine Challenge
The Trans-Pennine Trophy is contested by members of the two hot air balloon clubs either side of the Pennines: the Pennine Region Balloon Association and the North West Balloons and Airship Club.

The trophy will be awarded annually to the member who flies the longest distance (measured in a straight line) from one side of the Pennines to the other without intermediates, re-fuelling or swapping flight cylinders.

The flight can be in either direction too. (Passports not necessary!)
